ABOUT BASL

BSE Administration and Supervision Limited (BASL) a wholly owned subsidiary of BSE has been granted approval from Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for administration and Supervision of Investment Advisers (IAs) under Regulation SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulation 2013 (IA Regulations).

BASL Roles and Responsibilities

Investment Advisory :

Verification and processing of applications for enrolment as an Investment Adviser (IA)
On-site and off-site supervision of Investment Advisers (IAs)
Monitoring activities of IAs by obtaining periodical reports
Administrative action including issuing warning and referring to SEBI for enforcement action
Grievance redressal of clients and IAs
Submission of periodical reports to SEBI
Maintenance of database of IAs

Accreditation Agency :

verification and processing of applications for accreditation and issuance of accreditation certificate,
On-site and off-site supervision of Investment Advisers (IAs)
maintaining data of accredited investors,
facility for verification of accreditation status
